My parents won't let me have a cat, its really unfair. Please help.?

Do you have a job? Animals cost money. Once per year vet check with shots and heartworm is about $300 per year in the northwestern U.S. Also there's cat food and kitty litter. So you want the cat to have toys? Do you think your parents should foot the bill? It is a big responsbility if you want to take proper care of it.
