Ladies! Help a single biker with some flowers.Please!?

I live south of chicago,and would like to replace the row of 10 hastas( probably not how you spell that)with some beautifull flowers that come up every year.Dont want to plant every year. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.Free hastas for the taking too.And if you want to come over and plant them i'l cook you dinner.
