My 7 week old baby has been drooling alot? Is it normal for him to do this? And should I worry about choking?

My baby boy has been drooling alot and I don't know why. I'm worried that there is something wrong. I don't want him to choke or anything and I get worried to give him his pacifier for fear that he could choke?? Should I be worrying about this?? I don't want anything to happen to him. He doesn't seem to be in pain. And he is very happy. Even more happy when he has his pacifier. I just don't know if with him drooling alot if having the pacifier will make it more difficult for him to swallow the spit or whatnot. Little help will be nice. Thanks!
